Oh, the handpainted signage just kills me...so beautiful, so delicious. And the handpainted type...yum. I love taking snaps of it all, smashing it all together when I get home, and smiling at the results.

An illustrator for twenty+ years, in 2007, I accepted a full-time teaching gig with Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. This is our fourth summer south of the border. We're cooking, gardening, making art, and exploring. Feels good. Feels like home.
